You will review and analyse financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimising risks of non-compliance.

The Opportunity

As part of the Insurance team you are expected to provide exceptional technical knowledge and specialization and industry insights, coupled with the One Firm knowledge that brings everything PwC offers to solve our clients' needs. As a Senior Manager you are expected to lead large projects, innovate processes, and maintain operational excellence while interacting with clients at a senior level to drive project success. You are also expected to build trust with multi-level teams and stakeholders through open and honest conversation, motivating and coaching teams to solve complex problems.

What You Must Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 5 years of experience
  • CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

  • In-depth knowledge of tax issues in insurance industries
  • Advanced technical skills in FAS 109, FIN 48
  • Experience in tax provision preparation, audit, and review
  • Proven leadership in managing resource requirements and project workflow

  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Success as a tax technical business advisor

The salary range for this position is: $119,300 - $328,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
