The Insurance Segment Strategy team plays a key role in shaping the future of Humana’s Medicare and Medicaid businesses, working closely with senior leaders on high-profile strategy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead high-impact workstreams within the strategy team, from problem structuring to recommendations.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and performance data to inform decisions.
  • Develop and communicate data-driven recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Collaborate across the organization to translate strategy into execution.
  • Prepare presentations for leadership and the Board.
  • Support strategic planning and business reviews.
  • Mentor junior team members.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2+ years in management or healthcare strategy consulting, plus 2-3+ years in roles requiring core strategy skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing workstreams or projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, etc.).
  • Healthcare industry experience, especially in managed care or provider sectors.
  • Experience leading strategies from concept to execution.

This role reports to the Director of Strategy and involves collaboration with senior leadership. The position is remote, with occasional travel for training or meetings. The role offers a competitive benefits package and a salary range of $115,200 - $158,400, with potential bonuses.
