Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business analytics, financial analysis, corporate strategy, insurance analytics, or a related field.
• Experience within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Knowledge of insurance products, distribution models, compensation structures, and revenue drivers.
• Familiarity with insurance regulatory requirements and compliance considerations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Experience developing business cases, investment analyses, and long-range financial projections.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Experience conducting market research and industry analysis.
• Ability to synthesize large volumes of data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Understanding of statistical modeling, regression analysis, and forecasting methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate growth opportunities and develop business cases supporting strategic decision-making
• Develop and present business cases for new insurance products, services, and lines of business
• Analyze market opportunities to identify expansion, revenue growth, and competitive advantage
• Evaluate business drivers, operating models, and compensation structures in targeted insurance segments
• Build and maintain complex financial models, including 5-year pro forma projections and ROI analyses
• Perform quantitative analysis on large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and investment insights
• Conduct market research to size opportunities, assess market share potential, and evaluate competitive landscapes
• Research insurance industry trends, emerging risks, and market developments
• Analyze regulatory requirements and their impact on business strategies and investment decisions
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management teams to align recommendations with regulatory standards and company policies
• Prepare analytical reports and recommendations for senior leadership
• Translate complex data and research findings into clear strategic insights
• Provide modeling, analytics, and research support for executive presentations, investment proposals, and growth initiatives
