Job summary

Oliver Wyman is seeking an Associate or Engagement Manager in the United States for our Insurance and Asset Management Practice. The role involves leading project workstreams, delivering analyses and client-ready presentations, and supporting senior partners in execution.

Location is in New York with a hybrid work model. Ideal candidates have 4–7 years of strategy consulting experience, strong insurance domain knowledge, proven leadership, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm
• Experience with insurance topics such as design, planning, product design, distribution, underwriting or claims
• Track record of leading teams and delivering under tight deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of project workstreams, including planning, data collection, analysis and client deliverables
• Synthesize findings and present insights to clients and stakeholders
• Support Partners with project delivery and mentor junior staff
