1–3 years accounting experience; exposure to statutory or regulatory filing processes preferred.
Experience in the insurance industry strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field a plus
Familiarity with NAIC SAP a plus

Responsibilities

Prepare, coordinate, and track all statutory filings required by state insurance departments and regulatory bodies.
Maintain statutory filing calendar to meet deadlines across multiple states.
Gather, organize, and validate data for filings with input from Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, and Legal.
Liaise with state departments and filing agents to confirm receipt and respond to data requests.
Maintain organized records of filings and correspondence per record-retention policies.
Monitor changes to filing requirements and inform corporate accounting and stakeholders
