Overview:

The Insurance Service Representative I is responsible for processing incoming correspondence from insurance companies, including requests and routing to appropriate departments. This role also involves performing various office duties such as printing, mailing, and other tasks to support the correspondence team. All duties are performed in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing or Ambulatory experience, Revenue Cycle, Healthcare billing, or insurance experience.
• Education: High School Degree or equivalent.
• Certifications: None required.
• Other: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, strong communication and customer service skills.
