Job summary

McGriff, a division of Marsh McLennan Agency, is seeking a Service Associate on the Commercial Lines team to support service and production goals. You will process new and renewal business, update the client management system, and respond to client questions while maintaining accurate records.

You will assemble proposals, assist in preparation of stewardship reports and service plans, and handle endorsements, policies, audits, and ID cards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Process new and renewal business to support revenue and retention goals.
• Update and maintain information in the client management system.
• Address and resolve client questions and issues; escalate when needed.
• Assist in preparation of proposals, stewardship reports, and service plans.
• Maintain daily processing of endorsements, policies, audits, and ID cards.

A day in the life.

As our Service Associate on the Commercial Lines team, you'll support the service and production team in reaching overall agency revenue and retention goals by processing new and renewal business, updating and maintaining information in the client management system, addressing and resolving client questions and issues, escalating issues of increased complexity, providing clients with information including plan information, rates, contributions, assemble proposals and other presentations, assist in preparation of new and renewal proposals, stewardship reports, service plans, and comparisons, maintain daily client processing functions such as endorsements, policies, audits, pending cancellations, and ID cards.

• Assignment based primarily upon the individual's minimal level of experience and production capacity to service a midsize book of business
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrate strong organizational and project skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
• Act with responsiveness, urgency, and professionalism in all matters
• Prioritize work to achieve timely completion of the most critical and sensitive activities
• Respond quickly to client requests and work to provide appropriate information
• Accept accountability for the quality of work

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

• Insurance license
• Five years of industry specific experience
• LOB designations
• College or advanced degree
