Job summary

Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance is hiring a full-time, commission-based insurance agent to sell and service a broad range of products across Georgia. The role requires a Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health license or active pursuit, a valid driver's license, and strong communication and computer skills.

You will meet quarterly sales goals, consult with clients on coverage needs, prospect new customers, inspect properties for risk, and promote the Georgia Farm Bureau brand through local

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Valid Georgia driver's license.
• Must have passed Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance exams (License Required).
• Actively pursuing licensure through the Georgia Department of Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service a wide range of insurance products including farm, crop, auto, homeowners, commercial, life, medical, and dental, and meet quarterly sales and retention goals.
• Consult with clients to explain policies, analyze coverage needs, and recommend solutions.
• Prospect new customers and grow membership through community networking.
• Ensure all policy documentation and service requirements are completed accurately.
• Inspect properties to assess risk and recommend corrective actions.
• Promote Georgia Farm Bureau and GFBMIC through local advertising and community involvement.
• Engage in continuous professional development and product training.
• Foster strong relationships between county offices and the home office.
