You will manage the quote pipeline, attach quotes to files, and assist the Sales Executive with follow-ups and file maintenance. Some travel within a 25-mile radius is required, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Obtain MA Property & Casualty Insurance Broker’s License and any required license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Willingness to travel within a 25-mile radius.

Responsibilities

• Input data on new prospects to be quoted.
• Research information required to quote such as driving records and mileage.
• Obtain property cards and photos from internet sites.
• Enter line of business data into rating programs.
• Attach quotes to the client’s file and quote new business policies.
• Manage the pipeline, due dates, and follow ups.
• Provide documentation for client signatures after sale.
• Create binders for insurers, banks, attorneys, etc.
• Upload new business to carriers for policy issuance.
• Update and maintain prospect files and follow up on issuance.
• Review open items and assist Sales Executive as needed.
• Learn and utilize Office programs for sales support.
• Provide proposals to Sales Executive as needed.
