Qualifications

  • Missouri / Illinois Life & Health and Property & Casualty license.
  • Prior Sales Experience.
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency, confident and works well independently.
  • Must be highly self-motivated, possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, customer service skills, and analytical skills.
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
  • Ability to follow up and exceed current and prospective client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Create tailored quotes directly with clients that align with their risk profiles, make sales presentations, and close sales.
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
  • Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
  • Cold call, direct email and perform other lead activities.
  • Must quote and sell life insurance.
