Overview

Join to apply for the Insurance Sales Representative (11am-8pm CST Shift) role at Kin Insurance.

Base pay range: $65,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr.

Responsibilities
  • Connect with potential customers by handling inbound inquiries via phone, email, and text to understand needs and recommend tailored insurance solutions.
  • Exceed sales targets by building relationships, applying effective sales techniques, and ensuring value in every interaction.
  • Clearly communicate product benefits, address questions, and deliver exceptional service throughout the process.
  • Leverage company-provided leads to drive sales and follow up to move customers through the sales funnel toward a close.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and customer service to ensure a smooth experience from inquiry to policy issuance.
  • Explain insurance options in simple terms and educate customers on coverage that protects their homes.
Qualifications
  • At least 6 months of P&C insurance experience in a fast-paced sales environment; homeowners and call center experience are a plus.
  • Active P&C licensure in your current state of residence; previous insurance sales experience considered, or strong sales background from other industries.
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to build trust and relationships; proven closer with strong negotiation skills and a track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and ability to adhere to metrics, schedules, and training protocols.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and telephone software; ability to use multiple platforms simultaneously.
  • Bonus: Licensed in California and/or Surplus Lines License.
Shift & Training
  • Must be available Monday–Friday for 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM CST.
  • Rotating Saturday shift required every 4–6 weeks.
  • Mandatory paid 8+ week training period.
Compensation

On-target earnings (OTE) start at $84,000 with uncapped earnings and performance-based incentives. Top performers reach six figures and above.

Base salary: $40,000
Annual bonus based on policy attainment goals, plus uncapped monthly earnings through Kin Sales Incentive Program. Ramp-up guarantees and additional incentives apply as outlined by Kin.
