A-MAX Insurance is seeking an in-office Sales Agent to grow the customer base, manage policies, collect payments, and drive renewals. You will work with a team to develop marketing strategies and service a diverse client base across the Tyler area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required).
• Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic computer knowledge with strong written, verbal, and people skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly learn company software.
• Complete continuing education courses (paid by A-MAX) to maintain active license with TDI.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with insurance needs such as new policies, edits, payments, renewals, and questions.
• Inspect vehicles to assess insurance risk.
• Seek new clients and develop clientele through networking and marketing.
• Perform administrative tasks and handle renewals and underwriting communications.
• Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
