Job summary

Ruby Casas Farmers Insurance in Edinburg, Texas, seeks a confident Sales Representative to promote products, generate quotes, and close sales. You will build relationships with real estate agents, lenders, title companies, auto dealers, and other referrals while expanding our customer base.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to multi-task.
• Prior sales experience is required.
• Property & Casualty license is required.
• Bilingual ability is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
• Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
• Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
• Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
• Share training and education knowledge and expertise with team members.
• Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of new products and services.
• Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
• Cold call, direct email and perform other lead generation activities.
