Kristopher Johnson Farmers Insurance in Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking a confident, experienced sales professional to join our team. You will be responsible for selling and promoting Farmers products while delivering outstanding customer service to our local clients.

Develop insurance quotes, make presentations, and close sales while building ongoing networking relationships with real estate agents, mortgage lenders, auto dealers and other referral sources.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years prior sales experience is preferred.
• A Property & Casualty insurance license is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
• Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
• Maintain knowledge of new products and services.
• Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
• Be outstanding at relationship building.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Call prospective customers by operating VOIP telephones, automatic dialing systems, and other internet technologies.
• Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
