Job summary

Chestnut Hill Realty is seeking an experienced Insurance Risk Manager to join our corporate office in Chestnut Hill. You will develop, implement, and oversee risk management, insurance, claims administration, and loss prevention programs to protect assets and support safe operations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least four years in risk management, with strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in risk management, insurance, claims administration, or related field.
• Experience in real estate, property management, construction, or multifamily housing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance programs and risk management principles.
• Understanding of claims management, loss prevention, contractual risk transfer practices and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize operational, financial, and liability risks.
• Develop strategies to mitigate risk and support business objectives.
• Manage the company's insurance portfolio and lead annual renewals.
• Partner with brokers, carriers, consultants, and other advisors.
• Monitor compliance with insurance requirements and claims administration.
• Oversee property, casualty, automobile, and liability claims.
• Coordinate loss prevention initiatives with corporate departments.
• Review contracts and vendor agreements for insurance requirements.
• Maintain insurance records and risk management documentation.
• Monitor compliance with policy obligations and corporate standards.
