Job summary

Greylock Federal Credit Union is seeking a Retention Offifer to strengthen policyholder loyalty and proactively manage renewals. The hybrid, full-time role requires deep product knowledge, independent decision-making, and strong customer relationship skills to drive retention and cross-sell growth.

Responsibilities include remarketing for existing policyholders, evaluating coverage options, and collaborating with Account Managers and leadership to develop effective retention strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2-5 years of insurance experience in personal lines.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; insurance-related coursework preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Producers License required within 6 weeks of hire.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and relationship building; ability to work independently.
• Technical/Other Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Applied EPIC (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive personal lines remarkets for existing policyholders by completing customer fact-finding, risk assessments, underwriting reviews, carrier marketing, quoting, proposal preparation, and policy binding activities.
• Proactively manage renewals by recommending coverage enhancements, policy adjustments, deductible options, and discount opportunities that align with customer needs and risk profiles.
• Partner with Account Managers, Sales Producers, and agency leadership to develop retention strategies and resolve complex customer situations.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships through cross-selling and upselling additional insurance products and services.
