Job summary

Halluminate, Inc. is hiring part-time Insurance & Reinsurance SMEs on a fully remote basis. You will design RL tasks and training materials for frontier AI models focused on financial services workflows, with multi-step reasoning and real-world underwriting and reserving problems.

You’ll collaborate with research and engineering teams, delivering tasks across multiple rounds and earning milestone payments plus bonuses for top performance.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years in insurance or reinsurance (underwriting, actuarial, claims, broking, cat modelling).
• Curiosity about ML/AI, data and engineering concepts. No technical background required.
• Strong organization and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Identify financial workflows where AI models fall short and design tasks for training data.
• Create training materials for AI systems including loss reserving analyses and rating models.
• Build complex RL tasks exposing weaknesses in AI models on financial services work.
• Collaborate with research and engineering teams to evaluate model outputs and improve training data.
• Revise tasks quickly based on feedback across multiple rounds.
