LifeWays Michigan in Jackson, Michigan is seeking a Reimbursement Specialist to maximize reimbursements by generating timely and accurate bills for Medicare, third-party insurances, and self-pay accounts.

Under the direction of the Director of Revenue Cycle/Billing, you will enter claims into the LEO EMR, post cash receipts, and status outstanding bills, while adhering to CARF and MDHHS standards.

Formación

• CHAMPS training is required.
• High school diploma is required.
• Three years of medical billing experience is required.
• Mental Health First Aid Training upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Maximize reimbursement by generating timely and accurate bills to all insurances.
• Post cash receipts to consumer accounts and status outstanding accounts with insurances.
• Enter new insurances in LEO.
