We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as an Insurance Product Director - Pet. Primarily focuses on developing and managing insurance products, ensuring regulatory compliance, and assessing risks. This role is pivotal in driving team performance and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong people leader, capable of managing a team of 4 direct reports and 1 indirect report.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market research and analysis specific to insurance product performance.
  • Designing insurance products and pricing strategies.
  • Collaborating with actuaries, attorneys, and underwriters.
  • Strong analytical and regulatory knowledge.
  • Expertise in risk management and insurance market trends.
  • Effective communication with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to set and execute on strategy for insurance products with a focus on meeting customer needs.

Leadership and Team Management: Provide clear direction, mentorship, and support to a diverse team. Inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best performance, while addressing areas for improvement with empathy and strategic guidance.

Problem Solving and Innovation: Navigate ambiguity with ease, taking existing processes and developing innovative, solutions-based approaches to overcome challenges. Demonstrate resilience and adaptability in the face of obstacles.

Performance Management: Implement effective performance management strategies to ensure all team members are aligned with organizational goals and are continuously improving.

Communication: Foster open and transparent communication within the team, ensuring everyone is informed, engaged, and working collaboratively towards common objectives.
