Job summary

Selective Insurance Company of America is seeking a seasoned Commercial Underwriter to ensure currency and compliance of rates, rules and forms across assigned lines. You will work with the Insurance Product team to manage bureau circulars, perform rate integration, and support multi-state filing activities.

The role requires strong underwriting expertise, regulatory knowledge, and collaboration with cross-functional partners to drive compliant product implementations.

Qualifications

• Strong underwriting skills across commercial lines and forms.
• Solid understanding of ISO/AAIS/NCCI and state filing processes.
• Ability to research and analyze coverage and endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain currency of rates, rules and forms for assigned lines.
• Support regulatory filings and multi-state program implementations.
• Coordinate with Product Development Specialists on form adoption and rate integration.
• Conduct market research to inform product development and competitive analyses.
