We are actively hiring for an Insurance Product Analyst IV – Remote. Join us to support CSAA IG in achieving our goals.

Your Role : As an Insurance Product Analyst IV, you will be a strategic leader, communicating results and insights to the organization and distribution partners. Success requires strong analytical, strategic, relationship-building skills, and business acumen. Your daily activities will involve strategizing, data analysis, and encouraging action, with leadership support to innovate and approach opportunities creatively.

  • Understand and communicate the performance and strategy of personal lines auto and property products in your markets.
  • Deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders, tailoring content appropriately.
  • Prepare materials and shape agendas for executive decision-making meetings.
  • Assess market risks and opportunities, using data-driven insights to influence leadership decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with divisions like Marketing, Actuarial, and Finance to meet organizational goals.
  • Lead and mentor analysts, guiding team planning, budgeting, and strategic analysis.
  • Forecast and communicate progress towards budgets, influencing strategies to meet targets and serve members.
  • Conduct complex analyses to develop actionable recommendations for growth and profitability.
  • Utilize tools like SQL, Excel, Essbase, Snowflake, PowerBI, Python for data analysis.
  • Some travel may be required for relationship building with partners.

Required Experience, Education and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of analytical experience in the industry; multiple function experience preferred.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic; strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to leverage data to inspire action and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, capable of delivering presentations to diverse audiences, including senior executives.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Proven initiative and project completion skills with minimal guidance.
  • Strong business acumen with knowledge of P&C insurance products, pricing, underwriting, and product management.
  • Ability to foster collaboration and teamwork across functions and external partners.
  • Advanced research, statistical, data science, visualization, and mathematical skills.
  • Experience in budget forecasting and change/project management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA), CPCU, or Actuarial designation (ACAS, FCAS).
