Job summary

Blue Owl Capital is seeking a senior portfolio management leader for its Blue Owl Insurance Solutions unit in New York. The role focuses on day-to-day management of insurance mandates, asset allocation, and delivering client-focused investment strategies across private credit, real estate debt, and other alternatives.

You will present results to CIOs, CFOs, and risk committees, and drive governance and integration with product development and investment origination teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field; MBA/CFA preferred.
• 10+ years in portfolio management, insurance asset management or related experience.
• Significant experience managing institutional portfolios or insurance assets.
• Deep knowledge of insurance capital frameworks and regulation.
• Experience presenting to investment committees and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day portfolio management across all insurance mandates.
• Oversee asset allocation and capital deployment to meet client objectives.
• Develop portfolio strategies across private credit, asset-based finance, real estate, and other assets.
• Present strategy and results to senior clients and committees.
• Lead governance, guidelines, and compliance with fiduciary obligations.
• Partner with origination, risk, and operations teams on portfolio needs.
