Responsibilities
- Review multiple lines of property and casualty insurance forms for compliance with regulations and case law
- Document findings and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with state laws
- Communicate issues related to non-compliance with insurance companies and facilitate necessary changes
- Collaborate with insurers, rating organizations, agents, and other stakeholders on insurance-related issues
- Maintain accurate records of compliance evaluations and actions taken
Qualifications
- Six (6) years of professional work experience in regulatory examinations, insurance underwriting, compliance, or related fields
- A degree in business administration, public administration, public health, or a related field may substitute for relevant experience
- Basic skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using the System for Electronic Rate and Form Filing (SERFF) software
- Industry-specific designations such as CPCU, CIC, ARM, or AIC
- Two (2) years of experience drafting and analyzing insurance products and legal contracts
- Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with insurance regulatory frameworks and compliance processes
