Responsibilities
  • Review multiple lines of property and casualty insurance forms for compliance with regulations and case law
  • Document findings and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with state laws
  • Communicate issues related to non-compliance with insurance companies and facilitate necessary changes
  • Collaborate with insurers, rating organizations, agents, and other stakeholders on insurance-related issues
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance evaluations and actions taken
Qualifications
  • Six (6) years of professional work experience in regulatory examinations, insurance underwriting, compliance, or related fields
  • A degree in business administration, public administration, public health, or a related field may substitute for relevant experience
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using the System for Electronic Rate and Form Filing (SERFF) software
  • Industry-specific designations such as CPCU, CIC, ARM, or AIC
  • Two (2) years of experience drafting and analyzing insurance products and legal contracts
  • Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with insurance regulatory frameworks and compliance processes
