Job summary

ALKEME Insurance in Hawaii is seeking a Personal Lines Specialist to assist the Personal Lines Account Manager with data gathering, quotes, and placement of business. You will use rating software and carrier websites to prepare timely quotes and support front-line underwriting.

You will input client information into the agency management system, gather motor vehicle reports, credit scores, CLUE, and inspection reports, and maintain rapport with producers, clients, and underwriters.

Qualifications

Must be an assertive self-starter with the ability to influence others.
Demonstrated effective presentation skills through verbal and written communication.
Must hold licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to discuss/sell insurance.

Responsibilities

Use rating software and carrier websites to provide quotes to Account Managers.
Gather motor vehicle reports, credit scoring, CLUE, photos, and inspection reports for underwriters.
Learn underwriting guidelines to quote new and renewal business.
Input client and underwriting data into the agency management system.
Build and maintain rapport with producers, clients, and underwriters.
Assist with projects and support Account Manager as needed.
