The Illinois Department of Insurance is seeking to hire an Insurance Performance Examiner Trainee in the Market Conduct Division. This position participates in an agency sponsored training program, for a period of up to twelve months, receiving instruction designed to develop and build knowledge and practical skills in gathering and analyzing information related to insurance company examinations, to acquire knowledge and understanding of the Illinois Insurance Code and all related laws, rules, and regulations and to effectively report these findings to superiors. The incumbent of this position travels occasionally in-state and out-of-state on an as needed basis to assigned examination sites and may remain at or travel back to these sites for the length of time necessary to accomplish the assigned tasks and complete an examination.
