Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or equivalent experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify patient demographics and insurance information for admissions and visits.
• Register new patients in the EMR and verify insurance coverage and provider assignments.
• Maintain accuracy of data, resolve discrepancies, and protect patient confidentiality.
• Schedule appointments, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician or APPs.
• Assist with renewal and authorization of medications and provide patient care as delegated.
