Job summary

SWBC is seeking a customer service-focused individual to support loan portfolios for financial institutions, agents and borrowers. You will assess and update collateral protection insurance coverage and manage insured loan records, handling both inbound and outbound calls and updating data as needed.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely data entry, and strong communication as you interact with multiple carriers and internal teams to renew information on mortgage and auto loans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• 0–6 months of data entry, inbound/outbound call center, telemarketing, or related experience.
• Insurance or banking experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and telephone etiquette skills.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral).
• Able to type 40 WPM and operate a 10-key calculator.

Responsibilities

• Resolve inbound calls and make outbound calls regarding collateral protection insurance coverage questions and status across loans.
• Escalate complex questions or complaints to appropriate resources to ensure satisfaction and product integrity.
• Perform time-sensitive account maintenance before and after processing cycles.
• Enter updates to insurance data from Document Management System or FAX into the computer system accurately.
• Prepare and mail insurance policies, proof of insurance requests, and paid certificates.
