Qualifications

• 2-3 years of complex and sophisticated commercial litigation experience is required.
• Strong writing, case management, and oral advocacy skills, along with level-appropriate experience handling clients and opposing counsel, are required.
• Deposition and court experience is preferred.
• Previous law firm experience is strongly preferred.
• Genuine interest in insurance litigation is required.

Responsibilities

• Working on all aspects of commercial litigation from inception through trials and appeals
• Conducting legal research and writing memoranda
• Drafting complex case analyses and preparing briefs, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
• Conducting, propounding, and responding to discovery (documents, written discovery, depositions)
• Working with clients, witnesses, experts and other counsel
