Job summary

State of Hawaiʻi Department of Commerce & Consumer Affairs is seeking a staff member to support licensing and compliance processes in a government setting.

The role involves reviewing applications and documents for licensing, assisting in scheduling examinations, and ensuring accuracy and conformance to standards. A federal work authorization, strong English communication, and three years of office experience are required.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Three years of progressively responsible office work experience.
• Substitutions for experience are allowed per the minimum qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Reviews applications and supporting data for compliance with insurance licensing requirements of the State;
• Reviews documents required to be filed by individuals and agencies to determine continuing qualification for licenses;
• Assists in scheduling licensing examinations and monitors and scores examinations;
• Performs other duties as required.
