Insure National is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Insurance Defense Litigation team in a California-based role with remote or hybrid flexibility. The ideal candidate will handle a range of defense matters, including general liability, medical malpractice, and bodily injury cases, with opportunities for client interaction and trial exposure.

Candidates should have a J.D. from an accredited law school and an active California Bar license, plus 2+ years of litigation experience.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 2+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Experience in insurance defense or related practice areas is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, reports, and legal correspondence.
• Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
• Assist with settlement negotiations and case strategy.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex matters.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Maintain organized case files and billing records.
• Support trial preparation and litigation management.
