Job summary

The Hustead Law Firm in Denver Tech Center seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support multiple attorneys through all stages of litigation. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of insurance defense litigation experience and strong legal research, data management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities include e-filing, calendaring, discovery coordination, deposition/trial prep, and interaction with clients, experts, and witnesses. Excellent written and verbal communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation experience in a law firm, supporting multiple attorneys.
• Familiarity with Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP), Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure (FRAP), and state court rules.
• Strong computer skills including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• High level of organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands.
• Self-starter with problem-solving skills and client-service orientation.
• Ability to review, draft, and prepare documents independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of litigation support, case and document management, discovery coordination, and trial preparation.
• Prepare and format pleadings and other legal documents.
• Document review and client/expert interaction.
• Filing legal documents in Federal, State, and Appellate Courts (electronic and paper).
