Hightower & Partners, P.A., an AV-rated insurance defense law firm in West Palm Beach, seeks a motivated Litigation Assistant / Junior Paralegal to join our in-office team. This role focuses on supporting attorneys in insurance defense litigation and case management.

The ideal candidate has prior insurance defense experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous insurance defense experience is required.
• Experience supporting attorneys in a civil litigation practice is strongly preferred.
• Experience as a litigation assistant, legal assistant, or junior paralegal is preferred.
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures, deadlines, and case management.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and grow.
• This is an in-office position in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys and paralegals with insurance defense litigation support and case management.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files.
• Prepare, review, and manage case-related documents and correspondence.
• Request, track, and organize records and other litigation materials.
• Assist with the preparation and processing of subpoenas.
• Coordinate scheduling for hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation events.
• Calendar deadlines and maintain accurate case schedules.
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, vendors, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Provide administrative and litigation support to ensure cases progress efficiently.
• Assist with additional litigation and office projects as assigned.
