Job Description:

Our client, a prominent Civil Defense Litigation law firm, is seeking an experiencedInsurance Defense Attorney - 3rd Party BI/Coverage for a fully remote position. This role focuses on managing complex 3rd-party insurance coverage cases, including Declaratory Judgment Actions involving Commercial Trucking Accidents, Private-Passenger Motor Vehicle Accidents, and Construction Defect Litigation. Additional responsibilities include handling 3rd-party insurance defense matters such as Auto Negligence, Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist claims, Bad Faith, Personal Injury, and Commercial General Liability cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review coverage opinion letters, coverage denial letters, reservation of rights letters, and insurance disclosure letters.
  • Manage cases from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Conduct depositions and attend hearings.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with 3rd-party Insurance Coverage Litigation.
  • Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar.
  • Experience handling Declaratory Judgment Actions and related insurance coverage matters.
