Job description

A highly respected litigation firm is actively seeking a partner-level Insurance Defense Litigator to join their growing practice. Known for its strong insurance defense docket and collaborative team environment, this firm offers the rare advantage of a 100% remote role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a busy docket of insurance defense matters, including trucking and premises liability cases
  • Develop case strategy, conduct discovery, take depositions, and prepare cases for trial
  • Communicate effectively with clients, insurers, and opposing counsel
  • Contribute to firm growth and mentorship of junior attorneys
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar
  • 8+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation
  • Trucking and premises liability background strongly preferred
  • Minimum billing requirement of 160 hours/month
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Dual licensure in Louisiana, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, or Oklahoma
  • Trial experience with complex cases
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and develop new business
