Qualifications

• 3 – 8 years of civil litigation experience preferred (1+ years considered).
• Experience in Connecticut Federal and State Courts.
• Ability to take and defend depositions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mediation, arbitration, trials, and hearings.

Compensation: 140,000.-170,000. / Annually

Our client, a leading litigation law firm with offices throughout the Northeast, has an immediate need for an Insurance Defense Attorney, to join our winning team in Hartford.

Our candidate of choice will bring over two years of litigation experience in Connecticut Federal and State Courts. This is a hybrid role!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:

• General Tort Litigation
• Medical and Legal Malpractice
• Products Liability
• Employment
• Insurance Coverage Disputes
• 3 – 8 years of civil litigation experience (candidates having 1+ years of relevant experience will be considered).
• Perform legal research.
• Prepare and respond to discovery.
• Ability to take and defend depositions.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions.
• Assist with mediation, arbitration, trials, and hearings.
