Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the South Carolina state bar in good standing.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Proven experience in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial preparation, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Develop and implement litigation strategy, including case evaluation, discovery plans, and trial preparation.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in court.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance defense litigation developments.
• Collaborate with the legal team to ensure successful outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.
