Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the South Carolina state bar in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial preparation, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Develop and implement litigation strategy, including case evaluation, discovery plans, and trial preparation.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in court.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance defense litigation developments.
• Collaborate with the legal team to ensure successful outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.

We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This role will focus on a variety of insurance defense litigation matters, providing an exciting opportunity for the right individual to grow and develop their career while making a significant impact within our organization. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, and possess a strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

1. Representing our clients in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial preparation, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial.

3. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
4. Proven experience in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial proceedings.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Proficient in legal research and writing.
8. Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
9. Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
