Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Associate Attorney in Scranton, PA to join its insurance defense team and gain substantial litigation experience in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will have a J.D. degree, bar admission in the applicable state, and at least 1 year of insurance defense or related experience, with strong writing and analytical skills and a solid work ethic.

Qualifications

• J.D. and admission to the bar in the applicable state.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in insurance defense or related field.
• Litigation experience, including depositions and motion practice.
• Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues and develop defense strategies.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs.
• Provide legal advice and services to clients and claims personnel.
• Communicate effectively with the court, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Ensure efficient disposition of assigned cases.
• Prepare and present witnesses and evidence at trials and hearings.
