Insurance Data Entry & Customer Support Specialist

6 month contract possibility of going longer

Pay $30 an hour

Remote - Would prefer NC BASED

In this vital role, you'll be the backbone of our data management, ensuring the precise input and maintenance of critical insurance information. Equally important, you'll be a key point of contact for our valued customers, providing exceptional service and support.

What you'll do:

  • Accurate Data Entry: Input and update a high volume of insurance policy details, customer information, claims data, and other critical records into our internal systems with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Data Verification & Quality Control: Review existing data for errors, discrepancies, and completeness, making necessary corrections to maintain data integrity.
  • Customer Communication: Interact with customers via phone and email to gather missing information, clarify details, answer general inquiries, and provide updates on their policies or claims.
  • Problem Resolution: Assist customers with basic issues, escalating complex inquiries to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized digital and physical files as required, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data entry and customer interaction processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
