Job summary

Wayne Shoemaker Agency in Maryland is seeking an Administrative Assistant to establish relationships with clients and provide prompt, friendly service. The role supports insurance-related inquiries, policy changes, billing clarification, and ongoing customer care.

You will work in a team-driven environment, learn through mentoring, and have opportunities for professional growth. Candidates should have 3 years of experience, Spanish preferred, and an active Md State insurance license.

Qualifications

• 3 years work experience required.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Able to produce results and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing client relationships and communicating effectively with customers.
• Bilingual - Spanish preferred; Md State insurance licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service for insurance inquiries, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing.
• Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations
• Assist agency growth through customer acquisition and retention
• Demonstrate strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Support team-focused environment and help meet agency goals
• Learn quickly and follow directions from Team Leaders
