Qualifications

• 1–7 years of experience analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions on first party property and general liability matters.
• Litigation experience including taking depositions, attending court hearings, and drafting and arguing motions.
• Strong research and writing skills; admission to the California Bar is required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret contracts and represent insurers in complex coverage claims across state and federal courts.
• Monitor mediations, arbitrations, and declaratory relief proceedings; draft and argue coverage opinions.
