CyberCoders is seeking an experienced insurance coverage attorney in Chicago to handle sophisticated first-party property matters, advising on complex coverage issues and guiding cases from pre-suit analysis through litigation. Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active bar license in good standing.
• 4+ years of insurance coverage experience.
• Experience with first-party property coverage matters.
• Experience with policy analysis, EUOs, depositions, pleadings, motions, and mediation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and advise on first-party property insurance coverage matters, including policy interpretation, coverage investigations, and pre-suit evaluations.
• Manage coverage disputes through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and resolution.
• Conduct examinations under oath (EUOs), draft coverage opinions, and develop litigation strategies for complex property claims.
• Prepare motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related documents.
• Collaborate with attorneys and insurance industry professionals on high-exposure property coverage matters.
