Freeman Mathis & Gary is a dynamic, 500+ lawyer national litigation firm seeking an Associate Attorney with coverage experience to join our Ft. Lauderdale office.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years' experience and will maintain client confidentiality, collaborate with a team, and contribute to the insurance coverage practice. Actual base pay within the range will depend on experience, internal equity, skills, and other factors permitted by law.

Qualificações

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Bar admission in Florida and good standing.
• Strong critical thinking and ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated, goal oriented with reliable billable hours.
• Excellent communicator, negotiator and public speaker.

Responsabilidades

• Provide initial analysis and develop case strategy.
• Prepare and respond to discovery.
• Take and defend depositions, draft motions and attend hearings.
• Explain legal options to clients and discuss outcomes or threats.
• Build relationships with clients.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
