Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
• Two+ years of administrative, insurance, or claims-support experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• On-site position based in the Columbia, Missouri office; standard business hours.
• Prolonged periods at a computer workstation; occasional lifting up to 15 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and report new claims to carriers, brokers, and TPA in a timely manner.
• Establish and maintain organized claim files; ensure docs and reporting deadlines are current.
• Coordinate with property managers, site staff, and legal to gather required claim materials.
• Monitor open claims through resolution; follow up with adjusters and carriers.
• Draft and route routine claim correspondence to carriers and stakeholders.
• Assist Analysts with renewal data, schedules, and SOVs for policy renewals.
• Track insurance logs, schedules, and master property lists for accuracy.
• Issue COIs and verify coverage with lenders, investors, and partners.
• Data entry and maintenance of departmental databases and reports.
• Prepare agendas and minutes for meetings; manage communications.
