• Review and reconcile insurance credit balances.
• Stay current on payer correspondence and policies.
• Identify and initiate appeals when needed.
• Identify potential account adjustments per established processes.
• Request additional information from customers as needed by insurers.
• Remain up to date on billing regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Update processes accordingly.
• Review all payer newsletters and stay up to date on policies.
• Run and work numerous aging accounts.
• Understand the importance of accounts receivable numbers and maintain standards set for each payer.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
