CommonSpirit Health is seeking an Insurance Follow Up Rep in Tennessee to resolve unpaid insurance claims and collect balances from third-party payers. You will review denials, follow up with insurers, correct billing errors, submit appeals, and negotiate for maximum reimbursement.

You will need strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and a working knowledge of billing regulations to optimize revenue recovery.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required at hire.
• Post-high school program in medical billing preferred.
• Two years revenue cycle or related experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Follows-up with insurance payers to research and resolve unpaid accounts receivable; makes corrections to ensure reimbursement.
• Applies understanding of EOBs and remittance advice to verify correct payments.
• Communicates over phone and in writing to explain outstanding balances with supporting reasoning.
• Resubmits claims with required information per requests.
• Identifies trends and escalates issues through defined channels.
• Escalates when additional assistance is needed to resolve balances.
