Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking a Follow Up Specialist in the United States to ensure timely payment of insurance claims. You will review EOBs, contact payers, and resolve issues while collaborating with billing, coding, and clinical staff to obtain needed documentation.

The role requires 2+ years in medical billing or revenue cycle operations, a strong understanding of CPT/ICD coding, and excellent written and verbal communication. Strong analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in medical billing, insurance follow-up, or revenue cycle operations preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance payer requirements, CPT/ICD coding, and medical terminology.

Responsabilités

• Follow up on assigned insurance claims to ensure timely and accurate payment.
• Review EOBs and remittance advice for payment accuracy and claim status.
• Contact insurance companies to resolve claim issues and expedite payment.
• Identify and appeal denied or underpaid claims based on payer guidelines and documentation.
• Collaborate with billing, coding, and clinical staff to obtain necessary documentation for claims resolution.
• Update patient account notes with follow-up actions and outcomes.
• Monitor aging reports and prioritize work based on deadlines and balances.
