Job summary

DXC Technology Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to handle inbound calls and support insurance and financial product inquiries. You will assist with policy information, processing transactions, and research/resolution of issues while maintaining accurate documentation in internal systems.

The role requires strong communication, de-escalation, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment, with adherence to SLAs and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years in customer service, call center, or high-volume roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication; de-escalation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls with timely, accurate responses to inquiries about insurance and financial products.
  • Assist with account servicing including policy information, transactions, updates, and general inquiries.
  • Research and resolve issues with effective follow-up and high-quality service.
  • Document customer interactions, transactions, and outcomes in internal systems.
  • Process requests such as account updates and transactions in compliance with policies.
  • Navigate multiple systems to deliver complete and accurate responses.
  • Meet or exceed SLAs, quality standards, and performance metrics.
  • Escalate complex or sensitive issues to appropriate teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound calls, providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries related to insurance and financial products.
  • Assist with account servicing, including policy information, transactions, updates, and general inquiries.
  • Research and resolve issues, ensuring effective follow-up and high-quality service.
  • Accurately document customer interactions, transactions, and outcomes in internal systems.

  • Meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs), quality standards, and performance metrics.
  • Escalate complex or sensitive issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Support operational initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, call center, or high-volume client-facing roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly and professionally.
  • Proven ability to handle challenging conversations and de-escalate concerns.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and efficiently navigate multiple systems.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in financial services, insurance, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with insurance or financial products (e.g., annuities, retirement accounts, policies).
  • Experience with CRM systems or call center technologies.
