Qualifications

• Must have Producer’s License.
• 3+ years of insurance experience.
• Exposure to insurance brokerage activities.
• Strong negotiation and sales skills.
• Technical knowledge of insurance coverage forms.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments.

Responsibilities

• Develop client relationships to generate submission opportunities and a regular flow of business.
• Review submission documents to prepare information needed from the client.
• Select and market the risk to markets to negotiate terms and pricing.
• Provide comparisons and illustrations to support client presentations.
• Prepare quotations for agents and answer inquiries from agents or policyholders.
• Review requests for cancellation, endorsements, etc., and renewal/remarketing decisions.
• Conduct visits to agents and attend industry events.
• Collaborate with support staff to ensure timely, accurate work.
