Job summary

Greater Regional Health is seeking a full-time Insurance Billing Clerk to bill commercial insurers and pursue claim payments. You will work with payers to resolve denials and errors, and collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate billing.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of accounting and insurance processes, strong computer and phone skills, and the ability to work independently in a busy hospital setting. Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting and medical insurance workflows preferred.
• Strong computer and phone skills required.
• Ability to work independently in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Bill all commercial insurance companies for Greater Regional Health.
• Pursue collection of claims until payment is received.
• Work with insurance payers to resolve denials and claims with errors.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate billing and services.
